Join us for some healthy, wholesome fun in the great outdoors! Children can build dens, use real tools, have a go at fire lighting, make new friends and have fun developing independence, resilience and a love of nature. Perfect for happy muddy explorers!

Children will change into their forest school kit at the end of the day and then be met by a member of Team Explore and led to the school's Forest School area. We recommend that they bring a snack and a drink with them - learning all day is hungry work! They'll also need appropriate clothing - wellies, rain coat, waterproof trousers. Please do not bring any items that you do not want to get wet or muddy.

Sessions start in the log circle,  where the children can eat their snack whilst we run through the safety rules, then the children are free to lead their own play or take part in an adult led bushcraft or woodland activity such as fire lighting, tool use or natural art.

  • After School Club is open to children in Year 1 up to Year 6 attending Kingsbridge Community Primary School.

  • Sessions are every Wednesday from 15.10 - 16.30.  You must book in advance for the term. Places are limited with priority going to those children in receipt of pupil premium funding.

Please contact Gabrielle if you think your child's school could benefit from a Forest School After School Club.
